Why floors feel cold

A hidden draught beneath your floor is quietly stealing the warmth

Older homes typically have a suspended timber ground floor: floorboards on joists, with an open void underneath. Air bricks let outside air rush through that void all year round — so heat escapes, and rooms never feel truly warm.

Preparation of Our Work Area

Many hands make light work — we can clear the space for you. Dust sheets down, rooms screened off, extraction running and discreet access created only where needed.

Rigorous Underfloor Installation

Insulation fitted tightly between joists, every gap is sealed, airbricks are kept clear, and any small repairs are handled carefully as the installation progresses.

Clean Up & Post-Installation Report

We leave everything just as we found it. Payment is only due once you are happy, with a full photographic report for your records or for EPC assessors and building control.
