It is entirely normal for plans to adapt along the way — sometimes during installation itself, as areas of floor are opened up and properly explored for the first time. Since then we have also refined techniques for insulating thoroughly from above by lifting only 15–25% of the boards — and we have never yet needed to remove a skirting board. ### Genuine specialists, not generalists Floor insulation isn't a side-line to more common loft or cavity work — it is our entire focus.
